Jacob's Wheat of Gold Sets Record 2008

JACOB'S, the world's leading healthy biscuits brand, has carved a name in the Malaysia Book of Records. Recognised as the Jacob's Wheat of Gold, and measuring 236cm by 239cm and weighing 300kg, it was certified as the biggest biscuit cracker ever baked in Malaysia.

The mega-sized biscuit cracker was part of Jacob's continuous effort to demonstrate its appeal as the healthy, nutritious biscuit of choice for consumers worldwide. Despite being upsized, the biscuit cracker was made from the same ingredients as the original product and contained up to 94% of wheat cereal. It was displayed at the AEON Tebrau City Shopping Centre from August 19 - 24, 2008.

The giant biscuit cracker was created to salute Malaysians for loyally favouring Jacob's over the last 55 years. At the same time, 4 limited edition novelty tins were designed and sold nationwide. The Company has now expanded from making basic cream crackers to biscuits with high fibre, low salt, weetameal, high calcium and oatmeal.
